The Razer Mamba features gaming grade wireless technology with a hybrid system that enables instant wired/wireless functionality. Coupled with an industry leading 1ms polling rate, it is the fastest performing mouse both on and off the cord. Delivering true wireless freedom, lag-free speed and ergonomic comfort, the Razer Mamba is in a league of its own.

Gaming-Grade Wireless Technology
The Razer Mamba gaming grade wireless technology is engineered to free you from the reins while achieving the highest gaming standards. Its ability to be polled at an interval of 1ms maximizes the frequency at with data is sent to the PC. This also means your command gets executed first even if you and your opponent react at the same time.

Dual Mode Wired/Wireless Functionality
The Razer Mamba's dual mode wired/wireless functionality allows you to switch between the wireless freedom and the frenzy of wired play, with zero downtime for charging. By connecting the Razer Mamba™ via its USB cable, it converts into a wired mouse - the gamer is then freed from battery life concerns as the battery is also charged while in wired mode.

Razer Synapse™ Onboard Memory
With its upgraded Razer Synapse™ onboard memory, the Razer Mamba enables you to store more profiles and longer macro strings on your mouse without the need for software. You can now take your custom mouse settings to any tournament or LAN party, without the hassle of any software.

To be honest with you gentlemen at Razer,
I actually was having second thoughts about my Razer Mamba order, for I had myself thinking, "..Is this really worth 200.00?" [Note: $US to $AUS dollar + shipping]
Then, as i was on the website, preparing to cancel my order, no joke, the doorbell rang. I swear to you, i had absolutely no idea what the visit was regarding...as the mamba had only been paid for one day prior to arrival.
I opened the door and there was a man standing outside, waiting for my signature and my acceptance of a medium sized parcel. Immediately I jumped to conlusions, and I realized that it must the be my mouse. I commend Razer on their shipping management, from America to Australia in just over 8 days!
I proceeded to open the package..to my amazement.
The Mamba packaging was a masterpiece in itself..I would have taken the packaging without the mouse that is how beautiful it was.
I then did the various tasks to install the mouse to my computer..and I was stunned.
The kills and headshots in Counter Strike: Source just seem to come to me now..if I spot someone, they're dead less than half a second later.
The Charging Dock is also an amazing construction..it's brilliant blue shine puts the Mamba into an immaculate state. My entire family noticed the mouse and the bright blue dock residing upon my desk the minute they walked up the stairs.

On behalf of myself, [and unofficially the people who have been fragged - (who would like Razer to stop selling products) :D]

Thank you for providing gamers to opportunity to strut their stuff on an elevated level in the gaming scene. That $200 dollars was worth every single cent, almost a bargain. :D

Razer Mamba on a scale of 1 to 10:

    Your Sincerely,
    Aaron Girton.

Absolutely the best mouse to have ever graced my hand. Period. The improved ergonomics follow in the footsteps of everybody's favorite DeathAdder, making the mouse feel as if it is part of your hand. I love the excellent tactile response of every button and the crisp confident click that accompanies every command. The side buttons are positioned better than they were in the Lachesis, just as the dpi changing buttons moved to a much more comfortable location. I can sense absolutely no lag. At all. I can go on all day, but the real test is to go out and get one yourself. The price may be high, but just as one pays more for the new technology in a brand new LED T.V. or a finely tuned VW engine, you've got to drop a bit more for the extra edge and extra comfort (not to mention it looks damn sexy) that the Mamba brings. 11/10 any day of the week! I'm addicted the quality carried by the name RAZER!

At first when i get this mouse, i was afraid to get a DOA (Dead On Arrival), no light was shining ^^; and not detected ...
Mouse seems to be in a 'strange' state ... in fact it was waiting for a firmware update !
I knew it when i desperatly try to update before thinking to send it back =P

Now it works ! and it's amazing !
Surely better than any other Microsoft or Logitch mouses i had in my hands !
I'll surely not change before a long long time =P

I rate it only 4/5 for the following reasons :
    - the buttons are noisy =P realy it's annoying when playing or even surfing (by night) to hear the button click...
Maybe with time , this sound will be less sharp...

Razer has still on thing to rich before perfection to my eyes ^^ the silence !! =P

I have been using the Razer DeathAdder since Dec ’07. After reading about the capabilities of the Mamba I knew this was going to be the one to replace it. I was thinking about the Microsoft Sidewinder X8 but after reading more into the capabilities of both of them I choose to stick with the Mamba for it just had better overall specs and I like high specs on my gaming components. First of all the mouse has a very nice feel to it. If you’ve ever played with the Razer DeathAdder you know what I mean. I find the Mamba to be very smooth and insanely accurate even as you bump up the DPI.

The high range of this DPI (5600!) is much more than I am used to using right now but I like to know I have some room for when the time comes that I want to get more precise and accurate. With mainly being an FPS gamer right now I really rely on the features a mouse can give me against the competition and the Mamba has certainly delivered for me so far. I am scoring more headshots and over all kills with the Mamba than I even did with my DeathAdder and I thought I was doing well with that mouse.

The ability to go wireless and wired while charging is a great feature I really enjoy about the Mamba as well. The led lights on the side that tell you the sensitivity and charge setting are a very nice feature. One just has to glace down to see the status of Mamba.

I have not had problems with Razer mice squeaking or making any other odd noises like some others have it seems. They have truly performed flawlessly for me. This is one reason I went with the Mamba over the Sidewinder X8. Razer has been in the game longer and I truly stand behind their vision and products.

Razer stepped into an area (the wireless arena for gaming mice) with one goal. I think that goal was complete dominance and I would say the name of that dominance for now is Mamba!

    Frag on my brothers…and sisters!

You won’t be disappointed with this mouse. The price might be a little step for some but it’s worth it!

Ahh, that's one great mouse. I've had the Lachesis mouse for more than a year and was very pleased with its performance, but this new Mamba beats it in almost every way. First off, it's more comfortable than Lachesis and small hand lays perfectly on it. Second, the side buttons are way more easy to click than on Lachesis and even two customizable dpi buttons are quite reachable. Third, while some lag in wereless mode may be noticeable by some professional gamer, I, for one, haven't noticed any - it works very precisely, fast and smoothly in FPS type of game as well as in others in both wired and wireless mode. And finally its ability to charge in wired more all the while continuing having fun in one game or another is a great solution - the mouse is never useless, even when discharged. I've also tried this mouse on some surfaces like Destructor and ExactMat and can recommend the latter for more precise usage.
As for the cons I can only name two: some minor issues with configurator, which I hope will be addressed in future drivers releases and one major issue, which can only be addressed by oneself - the price :). It's quite an expensive bit of quality hardware, but if you're into gaming alot it is very well worth it.

Its a great mouse overall but only with the few problems that most people mentioned.
I suppose RazeR is creating a new driver for the problems and hopefully it will b

This is flat out the best mouse I've ever used. At $130, it's the most expensive mouse I've ever used, but for that you get the ultimate performance and a kind of craftsmanship that is unmatched by any other mouse on the market. This mouse is a piece of art, and while others might think the packaging wasteful, I like it. Like all other aspects of this product, it is a reflection of quality.

After the latest firmware-release, the jittering is finally gone. Like many others, this mamba started 'squeeking' on the mouse-wheel after 2-3 weeks (really annoying squeekysound too!). Perhaps some help on what to do on this issue could be released...
