I bought this mouse about... 6 hours ago... and it already is the coolest mouse i have ever used... this being my first gaming mouse i didnt know what to think... well now im thinking pure awesome...

    Pros
1 Lots of programmable buttons for macros and such
2 ULTRA high DPI that you can change in matter of seconds from 800-4000
    3 Awesome lights

    Cons
1 Takes a little getting used to, its designed for both left and right handers.... being right handed it feels wierd, and i had intentions on getting the death adder but when i saw this i needed the lachesis instead.

I bought this mouse right when it came out, and as usual, the brand new product had a few bugs to work out. It had a skipping issue that was incredibly minor at first so i didn't do anything about it. The problem got worse over time so i contacted technical support and within a week they had me a brand new mouse replacement.

The new mouse is amazing. It is is so smooth. I had to re learn how to use the mouse because i didn't realize just how bad the faulty mouse was. I have a large hand, and this mouse fits perfect. the cheapo mouse i use on my laptop feels like it was thrown together in the dark compared to the design and feel of this mouse.

Overall i would rate this mouse a 9/10. only reason for the 9 is because the 1st one was a lemon.

i would give a 10 to razer's customer service though.

The first gaming mouse I picked up. Loving the fact that it can be used by both a right hander and a left hander. The buttons on it actually have to be pressed down, as in you need to apply pressure in order to push them. This is great when you're in the heat of the moment in battle and don't want to accidentally hit a wrong button on the mouse. It has a very nice matte finish, feels great all around and you can also easily switch DPI right from the mouse!

    Pros:

-Very sleek and nice matte finish
    -Feels great while holding it-
    -On the spot DPI buttons-
    -Razer logo lights up, pretty...

    Cons:
-Takes some time getting used to, though it isn't really a con since I just switched from a Microsoft Laser mouse.

    9.5/10

Being both a vivid gamer and left-handed, the lachesis really caught my eye with it's symetrical and yet incredibly comfortable shape. After years of gaming with a mouse that came with my PC, i found that finally getting some gaming gear was about time, so along with my new keyboard came the lachesis.
And i am still dazzled by it's sheer incredible awesomeness. the perfectly accessible buttons for both left- and right-handed persons, the 4000dpi laser, the maneuverability, and the intuitive configurator, it is impossible to find words for this excellence. you have to try it for yourself.
many thanks ot the guys from razer, truely a work of art and operability, exactly what i was dreaming of.

After years of using my cordless Microsoft Optical mouse, I decided the time had come to upgrade to a gaming mouse. Though I had always enojoyed the Microsoft mouse, I quickly forgot all about it 30 seconds after plugging in my spiffy new Lachesis. Great response time, amazing sensitivity, and fully customizable buttons made this the perfect mouse for me. Plus I would not have to change out my rechargeable batteries every other day, which always seemed to happen when I was gaming and doing something important.

After a few days, I decided to shut down my computer for a bit and when I turned it back on, I noticed a problem... The mouse was unresponsive. After moving and reaching behind my computer, which is oversized and heavy, removing te USB input and plugging it back in fixed the problem. However the problem reoccurs every time I shut down my computer. Probable just a malfunction in my own mouse, but still annoying.

After throwing my Logitech mx 600 against the wall after hearing from their support that it has reached its end of life cycle I was seeking change, I read a few great things about Razer Lachesis thinking to myself its too good to be true. Although a gaming mouse I was more interested in a mouse with high pitch accuracy that normal mice simply don't deliver, coming from 3ds max background I really like this product. It was nicely packaged and to my surprise came with stickers "just neat" but whats even more amazing the mouse has 9 programmable keys yes "9 keys" on top of that two of the keys come programmed by default that allow you to set the mouse precision on the fly.

    Pros:
    - Very slick and has a nice feel
    - Programmable keys
    - Lives up to its hype and that's rare these days
    - Lights up, damn didn't see that coming.

    Cons:
    - Weird right side buttons lay out
    - A little light could have used some weight but nothing to complain about really
    - Corded why in all that is sane must we still use cords? Yet again not a big deal!
    - A poster of Patrick Stuart approving the space age design :P
