This is a great keyboard, the keys are so soft, like silk. The only downsite is that every fingerprint or dustpiece can be seen very clearly
But hey, just clean it, and it will be worth every penny...

I got this after I bought the Mamba and the Destructor. Razer has that effect, making other peripherals and accessories seem like junk. There was now only one thing missing: Lycosa, the perfect match for my desktop (glossy front black tower, all blue LEDs, glossy black 24" ws monitor). Not to mention the finest kb I've yet to use. The simple pleasure of typing without typos is owed directly to the layout and feel of the keytops. Love the illumination. The touch pad works flawlessly. The easiest macros I've ever written and used. Razer just flat-out rocks!

My review of the Razer Lycosa.
I have to say that this is a great keyboard.
I'm using it for 2 months now.
But i'm not giving it a 5/5, a 4/5 would do fine.
Why?
+Points:
+Layout is great. (azerty)
+Keys are great, not too big or small, great height. Nice smoothing on them too.
+Touchpad mediakeys are funky too.
+Nice finishing due the black gloss
+Macro system.
-Points:
-Black gloss is hard to clean due you need to be carefull how to clean it. Although it's a great vision of the keyboard.
-The azerty layout is pure French even in Belgium, while we have a Belgium (Dutch) layout.
-Touchpad mediakeys is missing the Mute button + the volume +/- is of the system instead of the mediaplayer.
-Macro system is difficult to configure with the ingame stuff, only good for programs atm.
And it doesn't support all games (expl. ZeroOnline)
I wouldn't recommend it to kids who don't know how to do it, even with the manual.
-Support for Windows 7 32/64but would be nice. v2.04 is getting outdated by now.

Hello,
I'm Daniel from Israel, and I would like to suggest to you some things to do on your products.
First, I will tell you that I got the Razer Lachesis Wraith Red and I really enjoy it.
I wanted you to think about to produce a Razer Lycosa Red Edition and maybe White Edition as well. because the blue color is like an original color and it's not really matches the Razer Stuff. I think that most of the people are buying blue color Razer stuff because they afraid that other color would not be matching there equipment.
Look at this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqaN8qowZSw
in this video at youtube some guy had changed his LEDs to the red color, It's looking very nice and I think people will buy it more than the blue color one.
Second, you can produce other colors also, like purple and green, it would be really nice and cool.
please answer me at my email: Danieldan1990@yahoo.com
I would appreciate it very much
Thank you team Razer,
Daniel.

the day I ordered the keyboard, some kids said it's not too awesome, even though Iwas sure it'll kick ass, the next day I got it.... I wasn't too excited cuz it looked as I emagined from youtube on the box, the I open it, and bam!! It's so beautiful, much more than in the videos. then I touch it, and that is the moment I knew it.... I don't love it.. don't like it, not special.. I AM IN LOVE WITH IT!!!! IT'S THE MOST AMAZING THING I RAN INTO!! razer took the simple idea of something you type with and made it the most comfortable, quickest response, flawless typing due to low keys that won't bump into you're fingers when you are trying to move around, no stickiness, no sweat no slipping and you must already know why! the next thing, and maybe I'm alone in it, due to other reviews.... I love the glossy black finish!!! even though you have to clean like immediately if something touches it, for me it's no problem cuz I'm not the most tidy kid in the world and I do leave those wet wipers or however you call it in the states, and they get dry an then it's not too soft to rip, and not too rough to damage, and it's always the same one, so for me at least the beauty does worth the pain in the ass, and even without the constant cleaning it looks amazing, especially at dark, it fits so nice with my razer deathadder on the black sphex just near the black metal blue light case, I love it!!!!! overall amazing touch, nice feel nice shape of the keys, and looks just amazing!! if you ask me I say lycosa, and after trying both I can now say G15 is crappy take Lycosa!! from my own experience when dudes ask that, just wanna say thanks razer for kicking so much ass, I love you!!!

This keyboard is great, its great for in the day and nighttime. The buttons are great, not to hard to press not to easy to press. They are smooth and they are comfortable. The touch control pad is genius! Keep it up Razer!

Very nice keyboard. A few design flaws. The keys are something to get used to, the space keys rattle is very annoying. That back shiny plastic was obviously a bad idea, fingerprints and scratches look terrible on it. An instant mute key would have been nice. Otherwise a great keyboard.
