Gaming Mice

RAZER MICE
In Pursuit of Precision
In 1998, Razer launched the Razer Boomslang, the world’s first gaming mouse. It sparked a revolution in which gamers everywhere discovered that with the help of specially designed peripherals, they could play their favorite games better, faster, and more precisely.

To this day, we continue to push the boundaries on how gamers interface with video games for a whole range of peripherals – including keyboards, mouse mats and headsets. But we never forget where we got our start, and that’s with the gaming mouse.

So when you put your hand on a Razer gaming mouse, you’re arming yourself with our legacy. A legacy of exceptional technological engineering, cutting-edge ergonomics, and an obsessive pursuit for absolute gaming precision.

DESIGN
Putting the human back in interface devices
The first thing a gamer understands when they put their hand on a Razer gaming mouse is not how powerful it is, but how nice it feels. Every button placement and every curve on our mice was created to fit snugly with your hand.

Unlike mass-market office-grade pointing devices, Razer mice are designed with ergonomics that deliver above and beyond what ordinary ones can offer. As such, ours go through rigorous testing with a wide range of hand shapes, sizes, and grip types to find what the best fit is for everybody.

With every new Razer gaming mouse we create, we improve the ergonomics to continue to give you the most comfortable gaming experience.
What’s your grip type?
Customizable ergonomics
The gentle sloping and long mouse buttons of the Razer Taipan, combined with its rubber side grips, makes it the optimal mouse for claw grip users, whereas the compact design of the Razer Orochi would suit a fingertip user.

Our mice also come in right-handed, ambidextrous or left-handed models – get the one that’s most comfortable for you.
Intuitive gaming design
Six/Twelve Button Thumb Grid
On-the-fly DPI switching
With the popularity of the massively multiplayer online (MMO) genre taking off, an idea was born to find an easier way to access all the skills at your avatar’s disposal without having to take your fingers away from the movement keys.

Ergonomic studies showed that while the thumb on our mouse hand is an under-used digit, it can certainly be trained to be as precise for button actuation as any of our other fingers. The revolutionary thumb grid buttons was born, designed to ensure all your essential keybinds are within easy and comfortable reach.

MMO
The Razer Naga and Razer Naga Epic have a twelve button thumb grid, suited for the expanded skillsets found in most MMO games.

MOBA/Action-RPG
Multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) and action role-playing games typically have a simplified skillset of six or less actions for more focused play. As a result, the Razer Naga Hex was designed with a six mechanical button thumb grid.

PERFORMANCE
Razer mouse sensors are the most advanced in the industry, delivering uncompromising gaming-grade performance. They are all capable of pinpoint tracking precision and 1000Hz polling rate. Some can even go up to 8200dpi so gamers can fine-tune their sensitivity levels to their own exacting needs.

All current Razer sensor systems also feature two special functions to give gamers even more control over their mouse’s performance:
Surface calibration
Cut-off Customization
By calibrating your Razer gaming mouse to a specific surface, it enables the sensor to record that surface’s color, topography, and other such properties. As variations on the surface are continuously detected as the mouse moves, it is compared to the original recording, allowing the sensor to react accordingly. This is as opposed to most sensors that have to “discover” and react to surface variances on-the-fly.
Wired gaming performance, without the wire
Back in the early days of gaming, wireless mice were looked down on by pro-gamers who needed the ultra-quick mouse-to-computer responsiveness only afforded by wired mice. These days, you’ll see pro-gamers happily sporting a wireless Razer gaming mouse during high-level eSports tournaments.

That’s because we’ve pioneered the best-in-class wireless technology capable of matching the performance found in wired mice.
Dual Wireless/Wired Functionality
Powered for extended gaming
What happens when your wireless gaming mouse runs out of battery mid-game? No problem, just plug in the USB cable to use as a wired mouse and keep gaming until it fully charges. Then simply take out the cable again to return to wireless mode. We want to make sure you don’t miss out on a second of win.

All our wireless mice also come with wireless receivers that double up as charging docks so when not in use, you can conveniently charge, display, and store your mouse.
Your settings in the Cloud
Configure all your Razer mouse settings on Razer Synapse 2.0 and have them saved automatically to the cloud. Have to use a loaner mouse at a LAN tournament? Or purchase a second one for your office? No problem, download all your saved settings onto the new device, so you’re ready for battle instantaneously. No more fuss setting up key binds and DPI preferences from scratch.

That’s not all, Razer Synapse 2.0 downloads driver and firmware updates for your Razer devices automatically, so your products are always in optimum condition for winning.
